#fanmfriday #heartsonfire
Children’s Hope is a lantern on a
hill. It is light. It is bright. It is good. Why? Because it is a reflection of
the Lord Almighty. How? Because He has ignited the hearts of many and
continually fuels their fire to burn bright. All of these hearts on fire are
united into one giant flame for the glory of God. These hearts include our
stateside staff, our Haitian staff, our teams, our donors, our sponsors, our
prayer warriors, and our ministerial partners. Some of the most precious hearts are those of the women that directly take care of the
children at Children’s Hope; the women that love relentlessly, lead
intentionally, and obey Him fearlessly. We can learn so much from these hearts
and we can enrage this fire to greater heights through the power of prayer and
encouragement. So let’s do it. Let us learn from some of these beautiful
hearts, pour love on them, and ask God to never tame them. Let us get to know
the beautiful women of Children’s Hope and learn how we can best pray for them
and encourage them.
We want you to have the joy of
getting to know some of these incredible women and we want you to be able to
experience the blessing of praying and encouraging them. So… every Friday is
going to become #fanmfriday. ‘Fanm’ means ‘woman’ in Haitian Creole. Every
Friday, we will post a profile on one of these amazing women. Included in this
will be specific prayer requests from them. But we also want them to know how
loved and supported they are, so we will attach an email address to every blog post. You
can email a quick prayer or word of encouragement that we will translate. We
will comprise all of the responses that we get and will give each lady all of
these on Haiti’s Mother’s Day in May. These women are so deserving of your
prayers and your encouraging words, so PLEASE take 2 minutes on #fanmfriday’s
to send a quick email.
We are so excited for you to have the
opportunity to see and get to know these beautiful women. Let’s partner
together and lift these women up in prayer. Let’s work to grow the flame, that
is Children’s Hope, so that these children, this community, this country can
know our great God.
